looking for good music - Page 4

Here is a txt doc with a playlist I made of 24 hours of great songs I think you might enjoy. It has some stuff you might not be able to find, but gives you artist, album and song names.

omg a custom made playlist just for me... it's just like a mix tape, hahaha wow that must have taken a load of work... think you could possibly make those files available to me?

omg what a list +rep

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I didn't exactly make it custom for you, it's the playlist I use for most of my music listening. But I do think you would like almost all of the music I have on there. I got it all over a very long period of time (I have 500+ gigs of music). I am not sure how I could make it available easily. Obviously a torrent would work, but I have 56k, so it would take years to download.

Didn't bother to read through the pages, nuts to you if these have been posted already!

Maroon 5
Linkin Park
Fall Out Boy
Freedom Call | Closer to metal, but still sort of rock
Soil
Red Hot Chile Peppers

It's tough. That's why I love it when I am in College, it's a ton faster.

Excellent, I thought you might have some of that already, most of it is pretty popular.

I would also recommend www.last.fm as well as Foobar2000 with the Columns UI plugin.

if you like 80's speed rock.. like iron maiden, slayer, black sabbath, king diamond, mercyful fate//
king diamond is some nutty stuff. each cd is a story first song to last song.... kinda creepy... i'd reccomend "abigail" and "abigail 2: the revenge" for albums...

No services are offered in my area, I live out in the stix.

Foobar is the best for a crap-load of music, and the columns are 100% necessary if you want it to be user-friendly at all.

Last.fm is just a way of tracking what music you listen to and it will give you even more recommendations (good ones).
