Power supply good enough?

I know you people here get tired of this. I am usually pretty good at advising on power supplies to power peoples' needs, but i just want to make sure, cause this is a pretty close run....

My setup below, including the NUUO 550Watt power supply....will it run Two (2) Nvidia 7800GTX's? I also have this running on the 12volt rails...

3 - 120mm fans (1 stock case, 1 stock Tuniq fan, 1 medium RPM front fan)
2 - 92mm fans (both stock)
1 - Hard Drive
2 - DVD/CD/R-RW drives (hardly ever use them)

34 Amps is recommended for these cards, but that doesn't tell me exactally how much power these 2 cards use at stock clocks.

Here is the page for my PSU....

http://www.virtual-hideout.net/revie...uo/index.shtml

I guess that if you add both 12v rails, you end up with 38Amps....

I guess it should work. If that psu has 38 amps then you should be fine. Anyone second this?

Well from that web page, they didn't exactally add the 20A + 18A from 12v1 and 12v2.....not sure exactally why...They ended up with 35Amps in all it looks like to me

it should work fine... at worst you will have some instability from things not getting enough power. but you shouldnt have any problems

It should be able to handle them. You can't just add the amperages together on two different rails for the total. It just doesn't work like that. Nonetheless that PSU shouldn't have any problems running those cards.

Ah, okay....I think i am going to get a single 12v rail PSU...I'm tired of the multiple railed market schemes...they are just confusing, lol.

Thanks for the help everybody
