Should I use find Max in ATItool? - Page 2

never do find max without futzing with atitool first, otherwise it does a 3 second artifact scan inbetween.....
what i have done before... is look at other people's clocks.... and just went with 30mhz under the lowest one.... and then start from there.

well right now I'm at 580 Core with 540 being stock core and am upping core 10 MHz then scanning for 5 minutes

Jump right to something like 625 core and 950 memory. Thats a "safe" OC that I've seen 95% of people to be able to obtain.

Mine will run 630 / 985 tops. Some other cards can run 650 / 1050, mine OC's crappy

wait so its better if i link all 3 settings (2D, low 3D and Perf 3D) eg have the same clocks for all 3? right now i set my max OCs at Perf 3D and i lower my low 3D and my 2D is at stock.
