Ok, if you're just going to use the one in the case temporarily...do it. But make sure you don't do any other upgrades. You WILL be cutting it so close it's unimaginable. A GTS wants 26 amps. If you don't play any games at all, you might get to browse the web. MIGHT.
Then, spend $150 get an Silverstone OP750(60amps on one rail) and have fun.

ROSEWILL=BAD

remember that.

Oh and don't even think about overclocking before you get another PSU. It won't happen, I can almost guarantee it.

well the idea is that once i finish building it, getting xp on it (went with xp > vista) and running all the tests i need to with overclocking it, i wanna get right into max settings battlefield 2 and 2142.

so id rather get a psu thats bang for buck, that isnt bare minimum, but i dont need a psu to power my computer and my house.

This is the best budget PSU. It will run an 8800 GTS (and even a GTX) without a problem. It has solid construction, good rails, and is a great brand. FSP's are the only thing I put in my customers computers these days. Never had one fail on me.

that silverstone psu is nice, but if he's going to spend 150 on a psu he can also look at:
