Acer AL2017 Driver help

Thread Starter
I just got a Acer AL2017 LCD monitor and the refresh rate (60hz) is hurting my eyes and giving me a headache but i can't raise it, the resolution is 1400 x 1050, i downloaded drivers, but i'm not sure on how to install them.

In the file there is

- A security catalong
- Setup Information which doesn't explain how to install
- An ICC Profile

All of them are named AL2017

anyone got any ideas?

If you are using XP

Windows Key + Pause/Break (Open system props) > Hardware > Device Manager > Right click on your monitor > Update Driver Software > Custom (Browse for it yourself) > Find the files > Follow instructions.

That should be it - I'm on Vista and I am typing from my head.......so it may not be the exact wording
