DFI use to make really great boards but and they are making a comeback. My dfi 965-s was the easiest p965 chipset board that I have ever gotten to reach 540fsb. Actually the highest I ahve ever gotten one of those boards to reach and I think it was limited by my cpu.

Abit makes some really high quality boards but there service sucks. The only good thing is you can order coolers and bios chips pre programmed straight from them for your specific board.

Asus is usually pretty good and I use to run just asus when they were the highest quality most dependible things you could buy. I cant say that any more though.

Oh and the dfi I must add as allways is picky with psu's and ram. Allways has been and I assume allways will be.
i think gigabyte looks like theyre getting their shiz together- getting competitive with their newer boards.

Yup. It might be a tight fit but just jab them down there and you're good to go

Gigabyte makes better cheaper boards, and all there boards look respectable, but ASUS makes better high quality products. The problem with ASUS is there vanilla versions of everything are really vanilla and ugly looking, and to get a deluxe version is like twice the price.

DDR2 ram like your reapers won't work in a DDR3 slot. don't even try it.
