if I do get a new moniter, probably a 20 inch one and run at 1680 x 1050 resolution, how well does the 320mb card perform? Ive heard that if you plan on running resolution higher then 1280 x 1024 that you would most likely be better off with the 640mb version

well just make sure you have got a fast CPU..

or you'll get a nice bottleneck..
