seems like little to much vcore most phase only use 1.6 id see what you can get out of 1.5 vcore.

My bios has it set at 1.65, but in windows its only showing up with 1.60

When I set my bios to 1.60 and its 1.55 in windows it failed Orthos in like 3-5 minutes.

Any recommendations?

Should I maybe go with 3.6 rather then 3.8?

Ueah I have phase and I run my 6600 at 1.56v (in windows) with 1.584 set in bios.

Make sure that your temps are correct, its happened before where temps werent right and people were running way to hot.

What I owuld suggest to is find the point of diminishing returns. Start at stock voltage and raise fsb unitil you cant go any higher then raise vcore a knotch and keep going. There will be a point that the increase in mhz drops very rapidly in comparison to a raise in vcore. This is the point where you want to back down a knotch and start trying to get it stable.

This takes some time but is the best way to find the sweet spot for your cpu in terms of mhz vs voltage. You will probably find it to be somewhere around 3.4 to 3.6 on the average e6600.

I use speedfan to check my temps.

I know if I go with 3.6 my Vcore is MUCH MUCH lower stable at that FSB level.

Should I stick with that?

I would. Also try Tat and copretemp for your temps sometimes speefan can be off for people and it reads at a different point then tat does. Run all three amd see what you get. You can find them in the download section of the main forum.

Getting a extra 200mhz with a hiuge jump in voltage isnt worth it in my opinion and I am kind of a drive it like you stole it type of ocer in most aspects.
