a speaker beeps from an electric current, hook a test light to the speakers connectors, if the computer would beep 3 times (normal case) then it would light up 3 times

Lived in VA and I looked to the right, mom and pop PC store, to the left there were CompUSAs and Frys. It's great up there.

Down here, I look left and see a farm, look left and see woods.

Anywho, I'm keeping the battery out for at least 2-3 hours, incase it was just being weird. Doubt it'll help, but might as well.
2 OP pls nerf

No, I mean, what light?

I have no lights.
Unless you mean, like, er.
Yeah.
I unno what you mean.
Only lights I have is a LED fan, and the only way I can think of hooking that up is cutting the connector off, and holding that on the speaker stand off -- and those fans were expensive....

But then again, so is shipping for parts to try to see what it is. >.>;

I'll see if I can jack my friends HP speaker tomorrow, and if not, I'll try the LED light.

actually a analog multimeter would be best.

AN LED or bulb might not work due to voltage and the rapid (to a bulb anyways) sound curreent

Go to the auto store or home depot and get a cheap one for 5$

Remembered I tore apart a P1 and kept everything.

Had one of those speakers where you plug it into the panel connectors, and it hangs off the wire about an inch away....no beeps.

Mobo....>_<

...Right?
try turning the connector around, it will only work 1 way, just like powering an led.

i ment test light. you know what a testlight is? a screwdriver with a point, lightbulb in handle, wire on back running to a clamp that you connect to 1 connector
