Yeah, I bought it for the shootout to provide a better a performance perspective of top blocks versus
both AMD and Intel dual cores. Mine is an L644G, which is not considered as the best OCer but has hit 4Gig.
It's currently running @ 3240Mhz w/1.31Vcore and a 6º/6ºC Idle w/ambient water of 3.6ºC.

Yeah the shield just keeps the hot PSU air off my tubing. Not sure that it makes that much of a difference, but the thought of hot tubing there was enough of a reason to cut up an old aluminum ducting I had collecting dust in the garage..

Wow those E6600 results are great, I've still got room for improvement. My water temps are good 1-3C above ambient, but the core is much higher than 6, closer to twice that amount.

I'm unable to get past 400fsb stable due to the Corsair DDR2-675 XMS2-5400.
Once I get some DDR2-1066+ sticks it should go well past that.
