My system was getting a little out dated and i had no money so i thought of just instead of spending money on a new one why not just rebuild this one,I am not done but i would like your in site on what way to go and your opinion on what i have done so far. these are some before and after pics before it had an pd805 on some crap Intel board d101 and 1 gb ddr400 sythe katana heat sink and then i switched to an ecs board that i later blew. the new one has a ecs570sli board core2duo6300 1gbddr2667 soon to be 2b and i got a hyper48 heat sink and painted(very horribly) the case black be kind i only had $250

Hmm... I have seen many ECS boards come back defective. I'm sure plenty of them were user error (as so many are), but from how many I have seen go bad, I will never buy one. I think it would help if you told us what you were using this for and what your approximate budget is because I could sit here and tell oyu to buy a c2q and an 8800 ultra, but I doubt that would do much good. From what I can tell, things are attached correctly. I just hope I'm not right about ecs boards.

Looks pretty good, one thing that could still use improvement is the wire management. Get creative, you would be surprised what you could do with that.

oh for next time i got about 200bones i was thinking a 8600gts and later when am switching to vista change from ide80gb to 250sata so my price range is about 2-300
ohh and as for the board its doing better than expected every one told me that it cant do 2ghz on the 6300 but am sitting at 2.1 and my voltage is only 1.36 and the ram is ocing like a jem i have it low frequency but at tight timings it gets me 29 secs on super pi and seems to load windows quicker

I think a gloss black interior with red fans would look better that red on red.
