doesnt matter how much bigger the geminII is (its not much heavier). Torque is determined by the distance from the center of gravity of the HSF to the motherboard X MASS X 9.8
so your tuniq, with similar weight is significantly taller, so the distance from center of gravity (near the middle of the fin structure) to mobo is significantly more than with the GeminII...therefore if the geminII would snap your mobo, your tuniq would have broken it in two already...
Yes but most of the MASS of the GeminII is not toward the middle of the actual structure. You need to find the exact center of mass, which I am willing to bet is probably on the fin structure, even further with fans attached which is definitely further than the Tuniq's center of mass.
And please do not forget that the bracket that actually secures the heat sink to the board is much shoddier on the GeminII.
