Clock keeps changing

Thread Starter
The clock in windows xp on my computer is never correct. It always changes. Is this an indication that I may need to replace the bios battery. Everything else is ok and all my pre saves are fine it is just the clock in windows.

It is probably an indication of some kind of speed stepping / throttling / power saving option. Turn all of those options off in the bios and OS and it will probably settle in at one constant speed.

Edit OOOPPS.....were you talking about the time of day clock? If so, explain in more detail how it is changing?
