Brisbane's ROCK!!! 3.1 on air!! - Page 3

I'm jealous. I can't get past 2.7GHz even at 1.5v. I think it's my motherboard though. It has been screwy since I got it.

That DFI board should O.C. really well. Do you know the stepping on your chip?

thanks,
First of all, what motherboard are you using? Second, why is your chip only running at 1.8? Your multiplier is too low.

LOL, wow, i didnt know they used volts that high.

Mine is only running on 1.3500v

Whats your load temps with volts that high?

LOL, no cool and quiet here. Always seems to mess with my O.C.'s so I just turn it off even at stock.

At 1.675 my temps were just barely under 60*c. They would hit 60 for just a sec then go back to 58. I would not run my chip at these temps on a 24\\7 basis, however if orthos would have run for 12+ hours, I would run it at 60 for that long.

But whats your load temps.

We have the same CPU cooler, so I'm trying to compare processors a little bit.

My load temps are just about 49-50c, +/- 1 degree

well, my stock speed is 1.9 and my O.C. to 3.2 gives me load temps right around 58*c. My stock volts are 1.3 and I need 1.675 for 3.2

Also Intels core 2 chip run cooler and O.C. higher on less volts. What are your stock volts?

Also I modded my TTBT with an Antec tri-cool fan also.
