Acrylic Blowhole

Thread Starter
Ok, so after searching Google and the forums, it seems that the most popular way to cut blow-holes in a piece of acrylic is with a hole saw at low rpm. I really want to do it right the first time. I would like to know what the general consensus is on these forums so if I could get any input of any kind on this subject, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, for 120mm fan holes, is 4.5" hole saw the appropriate size?

Thanks!

Yeah 4.5" is the size you want for a 12mm fan. Personally, I don't like the look of rounded holes. I go with the striaght sides and angled corners. It fits up with the body of the fan better that way and they're super easy to make with a jigsaw/dremel.

Just make sure whatever you do, you do it slowly. Plastic melts very easy if you go in there at full speed.
