Need advice on OCing a 4800+ Toledo!

Thread Starter
Hey guys. I'm new to overclocking but i would like to try it. I have a 4800+ 939 socket with stock cooling. I was wondering what I would be able to do with this setup without killing my CPU?

You should be able to hit 2.8 without much trble..

I have the 2x4600 toledo and thats about my max..

These are my settings..you can try them but i suggest moving up gradually and not immediantly trying them..
FSB:254
HTT:4x
Multi:11
Vcore:4.25 in bios reading 1.39 in windows
Ram Devider:180.. Ram overclocked to 232 and cas raised to 2.5 from 2 to run.

Impossible to say without actually getting stuck in and doing it, bud.

Kind of like not knowing how sweet an orange is without peeling it and then eating it.

Rule #1 in Overclocking: There's no such thing as a guarantee in the world of overclocking.

My advice: Read up as much as possible, start slow and methodically, then if you get stuck and can't analyze the situation and find a fix, ping OCN.

Good luck to you. Hope this helps you some.
