I just want to know what the best is on the market. I heard mixed things but it looks to me like the Zalman and Big Typhoon are the top ones. Can anyone clarify this?

I use the Thermalright 120 extreme with a 120mm fan and it rules...oc'ed to 3.6Ghz and load temps are 50c. I think there is someone on this site selling one for $40 shipped, maybe sladesurfer. look in the for sale thread if this is what you are looking for.

That is pretty much the best, accompanied with a good fan like the Silverstone FM121

Some fans will require a slight mod to work on the Ultra 120 series, Extreme or other wise.
Like the SS FM121, the screw holes are bossed in and have to ge cut away for the fans retaining clips, no biggy though.
The U 120 Extreme is a great cooler and out performs the two you originally mention!
