so with
a-b-d-e-g-i and the case total is around 307

you can get this case with psu for liek 26 bucks but i don't recommend the psu. it will work just that i don't recommend you use it, you can if you want to shave off a few bucks though

too bad..you could get a e6320 for less than 100$ in a few more weeks...smokes the X2 in your list by a mile, not to mention easily OC's to 3ghz. Thats a hell of a lot more CPU for the $$.

pffffft! who pays for OS? I might actually get a copy of 2000, just because I prefer it to xp.

Thanks, noob. I'll check it out later.

Thanks, all!

noob- your PSU is garbage! only 18A on the 12v.. scary situation...you should at least get one that has 2x 12v rails, with 15-18A on each one.

*also look for atx v2.2

A K6 can run movies without lag, buddy.

I dont run the internet on my computer. I use my mom's for that. mine will be int the living room on my tv. I want it as a media center. I've ran my OS for several years without an original copy, never had problems.

BTW, noob, I like the setup you put together, but I still like mine better. I think the case I found is better with a 450w power supply and I am really liking the XFX video car I found. What about your stuff do you like better than my list? Not trying to diss you. Just want as much info as possible before clicking the checkout button.

the psu you have sucks ..I mean sucks bad..the 12v rail is only 11 amps, that means its tiny, you should have atleast, I mean bare minimum, of probably 18 amps for the 12v rail on a striped system. With a video card ,a decent cpu, and 2 Gb of RAM I'm not even sure it will be able to give everything power..

here are the specs for all of you who want proof

+3.3V @ 28A
- +5V @ 30A
- +12V @ 11A
- -5V @ 0.5A
- -12V @ 0.8A
- +5Vsb @ 3A
- 115 VAC 7.0A 50/60 Hz
- 230 VAC 3.5A 50/60 Hz

http://www.bzboyz.com/ProductDetails...04&ProdID=4863

ps-that thing may blow your entire system as soon as you plug it in, i wouldn't trust any new psu under $30

Thanks, Kingsnake2
Here's a list of 500w PSUs. Can you check it and recommend me the cheapest one that you trust to power my stuff?

Thanks in advance.
