I am completely new to the water cooling world and i want one that is simple...right now my list of what im getting is a Coolit Eliminator and Coolit Ram cooler...ive read reviews on both products and they work great...any opinions?..and im wondering if a chipset cooler might be needed as well?..maybe the Thermaltake Extreme Spirit II? I have thought about a video card cooler but i plan to possibly sell my video card soon and get a 8800gtx lol..

NOOOO !!! DONT BUY THOSE

For the price you can get one 10x better

and you certainly dont need a ram cooler , I had your ram and I never even had a fan over it

Yeah you can put together a pretty good WC'ing rig for what you would pay for one of those...Then later on put a pelt on it and you will have a good rig...Put a fan on your ram if its running hot...I have over-volted Micron and just a little 60x25mm Sunon fan over it keeps it real cool...

What could cool better?..have you read reviews on it?...it cools better than most water cooling..(and i know phase change or something like that is more expensive lol)

Oh and note i am upgrading to a Q6600 soon so thats why im trying to get the best cooling for it...

the eliminator cant handle quads. the freezone can, but you'd be better off with water.

No, it can't cool better than water. In fact, it can't cool better than some air units either.
Once again...

lol sadly someone on another forum talked me into building my own water cooling system...i am curious does Danger Den produce good pumps and waterblocks?
99% of these brands pumps are made by laing with the brand sticker on it

MCP655 and D5 are both the same BTW and are good

DD Blocks are not very good , whens the last time a new DD block came out damn lol

and BTW for a quad you will get better temps with the stock cooler than with the eliminator
