Will my X1650pro And X1300xt run in XFire? - Page 2

Yeah i allready took my 3dmark06 score with just the x1300xt. Another reason why i chose this set up too though is that a x1300xt is acctually more expensive then any x1650 pro i have found.

My 3dmark06 scores are as stands with just my x1300xt
All settings are the same besides resolution.
Settings
AAx6
Anisotropic:16
VS and PS:3.0
1024x768
Marks:1151
sm2:357
HDR/SM3:455

1280x1024
Marks:1312
sm2:254
HDR/SM3:1876

1600x1200
Marks:1003
sm2:197
HDR/SM3:508

Is that variance of scores normal?

Right.

Both cards must be of the same series.

E.G 2 X1600'S

The thing you can differ on though is the models...such as XT,GT,PRO and so on.

So you can mix 1 x X1600 XT with 1x X1600 PRO and it will work fine in Xfire. Each card will just operate at there individual speeds.

Just to update those if interested i got my card today. It works great in crossfire. The only stock difference on the cards really besides a different heat sink/fan is it is clocked like 100 or 150mhz higher or so on the GPU the mem is the same. Although i was assuming it was supposed to only come in gddr3 and not gddr2. As for performance i get about 5-10fps noticeable difference on Oblivion maxed settings and 1080i resolution. So that puts me at about 25fps avg on that which is well above my 12avg before. FarCry is just amazing now. It flys in this crossfire setup. I will take more accurate benches later if you are interested.

EDIT: BTW they are diff series chips too. My XT i am assuming is the RV530 and the 1650pro is RV535 as according to ati tool
