Mouse Issues in UT2K4

Not sure if this is the right section, but it only happens in Unreal Tournament 2004

Im having a problem with my mouse.

When im playing in UT2K4 my mouse often freezes for like a half a second, then comes good.

its all fine and dandy when im juts running around with noone around me, then ill spot someone and my mouse will freeze up, then come good.

and i mean no movement, button clicks, anything.

keyboard works fine though.

Its not the computer playing it too slow.

at absolute maximum settings its running at anywhere from 50 to 100+ FPS

before anyone askes ive done the following:

*Reinstalled 3 times
*Reinstalled the mouse drivers twice
*Updated the graphics card drivers to the latest ones i could find (77.72)

Ive checked the CPU temps and the CPU isnt going any higher then 47*C

What the HE!! is going on? im getting PWN3D out there!

Thanks all

I'd bet you it's the wireless keyboard. I had a similar issue with a wireless keyboard. It wouldn't register more than two keys at a time and when letting up on a key and pressing another there was always a delay before the new key would register.

If you have a wired keyboard around, try using it.

Nope.

I plugged in both corded mouse and a corded keyboard, and its still doing it.
