This is a case i ahve designed using google sketchup that i will be building in stages.

will cost approx £250 in parts and ill be making the componets by hand but it should be fun.
water cooling gear will come a little later.

the red acrilic will be uv red and all the cables masked in black with uv dongles in the place of the standered ones, the 120mm will be led blue running only 7.5 volts to cut there rotational speed to about 1200 rpm or less.
ill post the equipment that will be fitted to it soon as it defferes to my setup below slighty.

that is freakin amazing-that mobo must have taken hours-anyway, great design, looks very functional -- components are laid out well- great job!
(sketch up is a fantastic program for being free)

Some suggestions:
1) You might need another joint on the top of the middle plate.
2) You may want two more feet to help spread the weight out.
3) Where are the intake vents for the rads?

Also build and good luck!

lol i did not create the mobo in sketchup but i did make the hdds and the water cylinder + everthing else cept the rads.

Everything in the "real" model in sketchup it milimeter perfect the the actual scale of all the components i will be using.

i.e the psu is stretched to 180mm/220/86mm which is the exact measurements of the enermax galaxy 1kw

Q1, the base will actually be thicker than this shows as a cool 10mm + the only fixed sections are the base/back/left side with the rads.
the top/right side and front are going to be removable.

Q2, i am going to use 5 instead of 4 stubby clear legs as you say.

Q3, they will be there with 120mm basic chrome vent covers both sides of the fans (that was hard toe model and messy)
its just not shown in this model

have the fans on 1 rad suck air into the case, and have it exhausted trough the other rad. make sure the rad the air is exhausted trough, is also the one the water passes trough first. this will leave the colder rad to cool the water further.

Oh... he is planning to do only a single loop? The order of pass through the rads does not matter. Temps will be slightly higher but not that bad. I would just do a dual loop...
