Safari 3 for Windows reviewed by AnandTech

Hmm, I thought it looked decent until I figured it was probably some kind of lackluster port from the Mac OSX version.

AnandTech doesn't think much of it either...

Given what we're seeing with Safari 3 today, that's hard to imagine.
Ouch.

They should bundle it with itunes.

Maybe put a tab in the title bar of itunes and maybe add a feature in itunes that would require the its use.

Anyway it would look seemless if they integrated the two.

Its not bad, but I still prefer the font rendering of ie.

Yea... it'd be better if it was just integrated like that instead of two seperate applications...

Not really feeling how Apple touts this as "the best browser in the world".
Give me a break, just like the iPhone, does nothing revolutionary, just looks better on the surface... oh, yea its Apple so the iPod fanboys will be alllll over it.

Safari for windows came out about a month ago, and it's horrible. It's slow, buggy, and has many security flaws.

It's the fastest browser on any platform. Webkit is great.

What I love about it (safari on windows), is that it takes LONGER to load the apple starting webpage that is defult home pager, than any other page I care to visit.

Loading times in IE or firefox for the same apple starting page are the same as others.

Yeah, I like Safari for Mac (at least version 1.33 for OSX 10.3.9 Panther) but the Safari for Windows ran really slow
