OC'ing a BioStar nvidia geforce 6800XT with coolbits

Thread Starter
I just downloaded coolbits and ran the detect optimal frequencies test and it set my clock speeds from a 300 core and 533 memory to a 406 clock and 746 memory. It sets them to safe speeds correct? Thats quite a jump lol. I just want to make sure that those settings wont hurt my card. I'm assuming they're safe. Just want to double check because I'm kinda new to all this, and will this decrease the life of my card? if so, by how much?
