well this thread has gotten off topic very fast ... anywho my solution to jmicron raid controller users is to get a motherboard with the ICH8R (or greater) chipset for raid. I ended up upgrading to a DQ6 motherboard and i use the DS3 on my 2nd rig . Now i get weird results for raid 0 performance, but this time burst speed is WAY too high .. i don't know if its even possible !!
