just the post i was looking for in the 3 years that i have listened to peaple to how great prime95 is i have played around with this program and came to a conclusion of it's real worth as a measurement of ones hardware quality.i have removed prime95 from use as a testing program of any pcs i own now and in the future.i will get a warning for my language i will use to rate prime95 it is almost as good as a pile of dog **** that you stepped in and tracked into the house.i would look for a diffrent program that is not ****ed up and the pc retailers are not backing so you do not get screwed into buying overpriced hardware that you do not need to get equally satifactory results.prime95 has it's own problems as other programs may also and retailers go out of thier way to use this to sell you never ending amounts of hardware.i have a epox board kingstonddr533 1 sata cheap video card and a free coolmax 500 watt psu and a 3100 sempron socket 754 volted at 1.55 is my main and only pc at this time runs runs 3d mark that it is able to for what it is and also cpu and memory other tests with no problem.will be building a athlon x2 dual core bought ballistix ddr2 1000 1 gig as time goes on.
