Who are you reffering to ?

People just seem to hate Vista without even trying it out, I've had it since it came out for business users at MSDN on the 30th Nov 06.

Only problems I've faced are driver issues and the lack of drivers, but at the present day most of that has been sorted out. Something you can't blame Vista for tbh, if hardware developers haven't released new drivers for their products for Vista, you can blame MS for that as so many people seem to do..

Other than that I really like it tbh, I did quite a bit of benching between XP and Vista in the begining but after awhile the difference in FPS was minimal as already stated 5fps in places if that, in my experience. Don't believe the BS you hear and just try it out for yourself.

XP will eventually become dusty and outdated (**** your still using XP jesus...), people will upgrade eventually anyways. Why wait..

Agreed. People who bash Vista are 99% of the time still only using XP and have never tried Vista...Scared of change perhaps ? lol.

Indeed you cant blame MS for lacking driver support. Thats up to hardware manufacturers to get sorted.

Right, ok then. thanks alot guys. i get your points. i found it so funny when one guy said, ''oh im sick of those people that say they have problems with vista due to thier hardware or something. looooooooooool

well i guess ummm, im not gonna get vista at the moment.
well i dont like the idea of playing DX10 in XP eithier even if it was possible as stated earlier. i guess there's so no harm to play DX10 in XP though but only if its fine to download and all that.

The thing is the future games which will come out in the next months (crysis, call of duty 4 and medal of honor airbourne) will use both DX9 and DX10 as stated earlier aswell. this means i can play those games in DX9 so that should be fine. anyways, i was looking at DX9 and DX10 comaprison pictures and seen minimal difference. the reason is (only guessing though) that DX10 is a new thing for game developers and thus have not used it to its potential.

when there comes a point were games that are being produced work only in DX10 or they are amazing at DX10 then yea ill get Vista.

to be honest, i think vista really needs a new computer. the reason is because of hardware issues and the need of plenty of RAM, just to name a few.

so yea, I guess my XP will hang about for a year or so.

thank guys you helped me alot.
