were you installing windows on the SATA drive
? at the time that i was installing windows i had only one drive
and it was SATA
well, i may be wrong but when i installed windows i had to do the F6 thing and install sata drivers or else the windows install wouldnt take. it would get to the point where it would say windows will restart in XX seconds or hit enter to restart now -- please remove any disc ...
and then it wouldnt continue any further-- like it couldnt find the boot drive (and yes id change the boot order back to the SATA drive that i was installing on to first in the list).
but, alright you may be right...i dunno- maybe it was something else- that was back when i didnt know a whole lot about computers. so
