Is 2 power LEDs safe?

Thread Starter
I have an Asus P5w Dh Deluxe mobo, and I ammodding my case like crazy. Can I run two LEDs safely off of the PWR LED jumper on the mobo? Will it damage my mobo? Also... Same question, but HD LED. Thanks

If they are in series, it won't work. The mobo LED header is at 3.3v (I believe) and most LEDs use 3-3.5v. Running two in series would need at least 6-7v.

It should be fine in parallel though, LED current draw isn't high. However, I am not sure about the maximum wattage from an LED header.
Once again...

I Agree with duckie.... you should do it in parallel if you will do it (not have them in a line, but spliced together of the same pins)
