Question: How to set ram timming - Page 2

The AMD2 590 chip set supports the "EPP" timings ands should do as high as 1066 w/5-5-5-15 timings.
So, what is at issue is how high will you OC the CPU bus speed and will you need the CAS5 timings...
Not so much that you demans the tighter CAS4 timings but what will you need!

When you get them...
1. Drop you CPU multiplyer to about 7 or 8
2. Set RAM voltage or vdimm to 2.2v
3. Increase the CPUs bus speed untill you find instability.
Test with ORthos, then final test with memtest86.
That should get you to the highest speed they run at at the 4-4-4-12 and other default timings... or close anyway
