The way you worded that it reads:

3 DVDs > 1 BD
10 DVDs < 1 BD

I can't help it if you are only able to form unintelligible equivocating garbage sentences .
No...he said that DVDs are cheaper either way....read it again.

atleast their products are closer to actual costs than apple products....$600 for a phone?

ok now add memory, fans, psu, case, hdd, dvd drive and then you are closer to costs....guarantee it still exceeds the cost of a PS3 with atleast 2 games.

7 pages already.

I'm not even going to read through this thread.

It probably says what all the other threads regarding Xbox360s and PS3s say.

"I like Microsoft" or "I like Sony."

im sorry people are to busy beating a dead horse to respond to your questions but the simple thing would be to get a normal 360 and instead of using a dvi/d-sub just get the vga cable for it and run it right into the moniter .. on a 22 inch cd you will not see a performance gain by using hdmi

@ sideburns.. yo.. dude.. trust me.. wait for the 65nm before picking up the 360 you said it yourself your not a big console gamer so it would be best for someone like your self to hold out..

@ lierman .. all i have to say about your post is ignorance is bliss and you seem pretty blissful

@ the comment about ps3 out selling the 360 everywhere but in north america .. i think you need to go check your numbers again... and as someone said.. yes the wii is out selling every thing and it will pass the 360 installed base in no time

To be honest, I don't play many games on the pc. I'm a console player which is the minority in this forum. My pc is plenty fast for what I use it for.

Now im not to sure on this but can Microsoft actually use the Blu-ray format now that sony pretty much has thier hands all over it ?

Blu-Ray was developed by the Blu-Ray Disc Association, not Sony.

Microsoft could pay the licensing costs and voila, new peripheral.

I see well thats all good then I see. However as MS have supported HD DVD im not sure if they would pull out for Blu-ray. I guess we will have to see.
There was an interview several months back with the head of the HD-DVD add-on department, I guess you could call it, and he said Microsoft has no plans for a Blu-ray add-on.

But back in January 2006, Peter Moore said a Blu-ray add-on is possible depending on the outcome of the format war.

We'll just have to wait and see. I just want one format to win so I can rebuy all the content I already have.

I can't wait for LOTR to be rereleased.
