just disable everything in bios and speedstep should be gone heh. but usually on the menu that has C1E, theres other things like cpu spread spectrum, etc.. disable all that "stuff"

Ok, I disabled C1E and now at least I can see the core speed at 2400 MHz and the multiplier at 9X. The concern is that in the BIOS I have set the FSB to 1400 which should set the core speed to 3150 MHz. No go though! Cpu-z still shows stock! Any more pointers? Thanks for the speedy responses!
