No he's expressing interest in cheapening video game production even more than it already is. Na bbing up "casual" gamers is easy because most of them are old or simply dont play video games. Since all casual games, are for the most part, minigames to the rest of us it would mean less development time, no patching and more importantly almost no server costs, and a minimal amount spent on advertising, comparitvly. And EA realy has no right to talk, I've only liked one of their games in last 5 years and bf2 was unplayable when it first came out. I think they're just jealpous WOW is dominating the entire market. This smacks of more EA laziness and corporate greed rather than an inclusive solution.
And yes games are much too short these days, in my opinion much too much goes into graphics that are already photo relistic, the industry needs to start concrentrating on content rather than graphics.
I hear all these insiders talking about how the industry is maturing but you plot and script quality in video games still suck ass when they're trying to tell any kind of story. Bleh im done ranting F-ING EA
