it will run fine, i have it and love it, my cpu is worse and single core,(oc'ed to the max though) and get 7555 in 3dmark06, if you lower the cpu intensive stuff like psychics, and crank up the GPU intensive settings you'll be ok

Click the link my sig regarding bottlenecks. It'll instruct you in what you need to know about bottlenecks.

FYI: That 19" won't be any harder to run than your 17".

17"=19"<20"=22"<24" as those sizes are the resolution breaks.

Go for it man. It will be a big leap in performance. Contrary to popular belief, a C2D is not necessary to enjoy an 8800....

"OMG U DON HAVE A C2D LOL UR SYSTEM IS GONNA BOTTLENECK AND IT WILL BE WORSE THAN MY 6200 ****.!111!1!"

What's the difference between a 320 & 640mb gts on a 19''? I thought it only mattered when you used a higher resolution?

It does. No diff other than what you see at higher resolution. 640 performs better, 1600x1200 and lower, use 320

The difference is that there are already a few games that require 512mb of video memory in order to even have the option of selecting Ultra graphics. You could assume that's a sign of things to come.
