So here's the update, I found 1 bad stick of ram. I am able to boot the computer to bios and then i started the windows installation, but right after it said it was copying file or verifying my machine i got an error screen. this also happened to me yesterday when i was trying to install windows onto a thumb drive. Is it the disc drive? or is it the cd?

Also, I still haven't seen a response about the power supply. Mike, Have you tested it on another system? I had the same type of problems when my first silverstone failed a couple of months ago. Sometimes it would post, sometimes not.

I had a problem with my ram in an ASUS 650i board. when the bios was set to auto, the system kept erroring out. Try setting your voltage to 2.0v, then set your timings to 5-5-5-15 2T, then see if you are having any more memory problems.

I can't remember where to actually do the numbers...is it in Extreme tweaker? under "memory timing setting"?

Then that is the Plus model. Your motherboard description didn't list it.

The Plus technically isn't 650i.

The 650i board (the P5N-E) uses C55 controller for the Northbridge and NF430 for the southbridge. The Plus uses the C55 for the Northbridge and the MCP55 for the Southbridge

(and for the record, the P5N32-E and the Striker use the C55XE controller for the Northbridge and the MCP55PXE for the Southbridge).

I assumed you knew that. Your motherboard descriptor should be Asus P5N32-E Plus as 650i is inaccurate.
