Quality PSU that will fit in the Lian Li V1000.

Hey all,

I'm sold on the Lian Li V1000 case, looks amazing:

However, as it states at the bottom of the page and in many reviews, the one fault with the case is a smaller than normal PSU compartment, so I'm wondering which PSU any of you V1000 owners (or people who know about the case / PSU's) would recommend. I'm looking for a quality PSU that will last me a while.

Thanks.

From your Xoxide link:

Please Note: Power supplies measuring more than 6 inches in length and modular-style power supplies may not fit into this case due to fittings and/or space limitations.
My PSU (Silverstone OP650) measures just under six inches in length, and has a single +12 volt rail rated at 54 amps. It should be more than adequate for a lot of systems. Mostly just depends on how many/what kind of video cards you are wanting to use. (Also, we might be able to help you out a better if you fill out your system specs. )

Just check the description for any power supply you are considering. As long as it's dimensions aren't over six inches long (152mm, I think... ), you should be good to go.

I'm not to sure about modular PSUs, so I can't really advise you about that. A lot of people here on OCN are big fans of Lian Li, so someone else should be able to give you more info. Hope this helps, though!

Yeah like I told you in the PM convo we had, they will ALL fit, just about, like seriously if you remove the second HDD cage, anything about a foot long will work, not that they have anything that long (yet). lol.

On a side note, have you found anything to put in that beautiful case of yours?
