Upgrading baseboard Need help!!

Thread Starter
As you all can see i'm new to this forum and in need your expertness. I have just purchased a new ASUS M2N32 SLI PREMIUM mobo and i want to change out a MSI K9VGM-V. The msi is sooooo limited for ocing settings. Can someone tell me how to change out mobo and still be able to boot up without having to do a repair install? I have heard something about using the defalt bus controllers and uninstalling mobo drivers before shutting down pc to make the change. Dose anyone have a step by step or a link that would make this change over go off without a hitch. I really need your help on this one as i have never done this before. Thanks guys!!!!!

I think no matter what you do you will get the blue screen of death. I might be wrong in this assumption though.

I've switched out my old chaintech for the asus in my sig and booted fine. It was unstable though so I ended up doing a windows repair and it worked fine after that.
