Thread Starter
ok i have some questions,
first i was doing fsb 250 x 10 and memory was on a divider at 333, and the memory booted at 217, now with it at 250 x 11 (the memory is still on 333) it boots at 196?, and when it was at 260 x 11 it was booting at 207
??

and the second question is, how much of a performance difference is there between 196 and 207

Not much at all if not any. I would try to get that memory running a little higher though considering its xms.

i dont understand why its booting at different speeds
the divider is always on 333

250 x 10 = memory boots at 217
250 x 11 = memory boots at 196
260 x 11 = memory boots at 207

????

Ok
First, the RAM is running approximately @ 83% of the CPU bus but that varys slightly dependant on the CPU multiplyer used.
So with a DDR333 or 166MHz setting... since the RAM starts at a slower speed and only increases a % of the CPU bus increass....and approximately due to the multiplyer, for every 10MHz the CPU bus is increased the RAM increases 8.3MHz
