AM2 cooler brackets

Thread Starter
As I have looked for a decent CPU cooler for my AM2 rig, I have found that a decent bracket for AM2 is virtually non existent... I have a Tuniq tower in my system thats held on with something I had to build, I didn't have a problem doing so, but as I look for new coolers I'm left wondering why there isn't a decent bracket out there. am I right, or am I going crazy?

On the Asus Crosshair with an Ultra 120 or Ultra 120 Extreme mounts blowing vertically. So, some mount bracket cutting and bridging its now front to rear with an old pentium HS to bridge the two pieces extracted from the original bracket.

The Thermaltake V-1 mounts AM2 no problem. I believe all of the Thermalright line does aswell. You could also check out Noctua's line as I think they work

Yeah it should be better now, when I had am2 I had to make a mounting setup for my machIIgt to mount it on my am2 board. Real pain in the butt.
