I agree. I loved the MGS series and I am a huge fan. Not only because the gameplay was original but its not the typical straight through story. With MGS you can choose to be stealthy ot go in guns blazing..or both. However With splinter cell its pretty much stealth or nothing.

Wait for WiC, Frontlines fuels of war. Those seem to be good games.

Speaking of tekken, they have ruined every single mortal kombat since the 3rd one, which was the 1st one in 3D. They are torturing us man, making us do all those weird ass combinations. All I want is to play SubZ against Scorpio, the oldest most traditional rivalry, and throw punches all the time, not have to press X X for a punch combination and still get my ass kicked meanwhile.

I WANT NFSU 5, I WANT MORTAL KOMBAT 8, I DONT WANT NFS CAR**** OR MORTAL KOMBAT ASSMAGEDON

AMD is also Anakin Skywalker
He has been beat and burned in the lava by Nvidia and Intel (not quite by Intel, otherwise those are Obi Wan Kanobi), now Anakin is Darth Vader, he will make his comeback as the greatest GPU/CPU once again! BEWARE REBELS! BEWARE!
Didn't Vader die in the end? And then the Rebels lived happily ever after? LOL

personally I agree that games are rushed out...I blame the internet.

Seriously...back in the day you had to release a game and have it be as bug free as possible. As downloading patches on a dial up connection made people not want to buy your games any more plus alot of folks didn't even have internet access.

Now days all the games are rushed to market and a lot...I could probally say the majority...of them are barely even playable off the CD you get at the store. I have really had it. But things have gotten so bad that you actually have to beg for patches...Ubisoft being the biggest offender here in my experience. Silient Hunter 4 they actually asked on the forums why they should make a 1.3 patch...i am calling it the flame war of '07. It was incredible...the game barely functions and they asked why it needs a patch.

I think one of the problems is that less and less game developers are focussing on what really lets a game grab you - GAMEPLAY.

They'll all concentrating on PHYSICS, and LOOKS..
Soundtrack even.

But as for making ... just elements of the game that will make it fun...
there's less of that.

Anyone remember RoadRash?
