Too early for Aug build? - Page 2

RAID 0 is special, to me anyway.

Running 2 250GB Seagate 7200.11 on RAID 0 will greatly increase your speeds in HDD intensive activities. (Such as uncompressing files, etc.)

I figured it out...

e6750
x38 mobo
DDR2 1066 Ram

Waiting for those, I will have an oveclocking mayhem.

Are you sure? the G.SKILL HZ's have the chip, also Crucial Ballistix have the chip in their DDR2 800 ram. Both under $150.

How much are the X38 boards supposed to cost. That was my original setup, E6750, P35 (Wasn't thinking about X38), and D9 Ram.

When and how much basically?

I would be very doubtful that the Corsair value ram has D9 memory chips in it.

@Peacemaker No idea man, everything about the x38 chipset is speculation until it comes out. Intel just openly talked about its overclocking features which seems amazing. That and it has a new/better memory controller.

I'm buying 1066 ram, no doubts there, skipping 800 to make sure I have no probs. Like this
