molex pins, wires, etc

so i was gonna solder a parallel circut of LED's and i have two questions.

where can I get wires? home depot? (22ga or higher right?)

and where can i get those little metal things the the wires go into? the ones im looking for are closed ends that go in male 4 pin molex connections.
(i will order these)

the last thing i want to do on my build is cut into the actual PSU lines

get the wires at Home Depot or any hardware store. i just use telephone wire or CAT-5, which are 24 gauge wires. that's plenty for LED lights. remember that the yellow wires are 12 volt, the reds are 5 volt, and all black wires are negative. i'm not sure where to get the Molex pins though, as i always just cut the wires from my PSU and use wire nuts or butt splice connectors. that will obviously void the PSU warranty though. just do a Google search and you'll see small specialty stores that sell them.

stop by a RadioShack if you've got one nearby. they've usually got a corner that's got exactly what you need and then some.

i don't know the technical ##'s on the stuff, but chances are RadioShack will have them if its DIY electronics.

all the radio shacks around here are out of business. we went to the only three we knew and all the signs were painted over and the the stores were empty i'll look for other places but anywhere else come up to mind? is it that hard to make my own? i mean all i have to do is form some metal and get the wire to touch one end and the other end touch the inside of the female molex. heck, i'll just skip getting the male molex and have the red 5V and ground/negative go directly into the female molex! a little tape should do

well you could always order them. Performance-PCs has them and i think Jab-Tech does as well.

but i'd imagine just sticking it right into the female would work seeing as those molex plugs are nothing by a bit of metal crimped onto exposed wiring. you'd just be skipping the "bit of metal crimped onto exposed wiring" part lol.

i'd hold off til someone w/ more experience w/ DIY electronics gives some input tho. i'm good at getting things to work, but i'm not so good at getting things to work the right way if i haven't had experience with it XD
