can chiller as cpu cooler? - Page 2

I took the TEC out of one of those, and hooked it to a 12 volt power supply, if it was cooled properly, maybe

Yeah thats like a 10 or 12W TEC...I have a 320W TEC on my cpu and it barely keeps me in the low teens under load...

You could probably crack the element out of it though and embed it on the top of a tower cooler. then again...

you could try (simply use velco to put it on the CPU but I think a HSF is more effective

1st - If the cooler is plastic and powered by USB i dought it will be powerfull enough
2nd - because it wouldnt be powerfull enough to cool your cpu and its made out of plastic it will melt causing lots of trouble
3rd - basically its not going to work for you
