I had the same concern as I have decided on the V1000B myself, and from what I hear (someone who owns the case told me) you can remove the bay barrier thingy without having to do any cutting or anything like that, it is designed to come out. Once it is out, you have as much space as you need for any power supply you want, including that Silencer.

Seems like a win - win to me. May wanna double check it to be sure.

I read all the reviews I could find and many of them specifically state they had to remove one of the HDD cages to make way for the cabling..

Just looking at the design (I posted pics above) you can see it is pretty short.

Of course I am sure it could be MODified...but I was looking to avoid that.

I may go with that biggest of bid cases...the 2100...but at $350 it better provide a happy finish! And let the dog out too...

Hey Druid -

Would that mod only be an issue for someone who wants to pack the thing with HDs? I'm only looking at 3 HDs, but I am looking to throw in the PC P&C Silencer in it. Does that require doing anything more than simply removing that little barrier from the bottom of the case that divides the PSU bay, which, from what I've been told, is designed to come out if need be?

Thanks,
Q

According to what I have rad it is a removable divider and one removable HDD cage...which should be NP at all. Someone actually said something about it in the NewEgg reviews.
