The thing is at this ratio, from what I have gathered, is that for every 2 MHz the cpu increases, the ram will increase by 1 MHz. Same thing applies to all of the other ratios (5:4, 4:3, etc.); just adjust accordingly.

I'm no expert, so anyone feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.

PS @ pioneerisloud: It seems like you are borderline rep begging, and that isn't wise to do. You will get more rep in time, man. Jesus, look at me! Just have some patients, you'll get there.
Sorry about that.....won't happen again. Its just that you know I've helped quite a few people I think so far (only been a member a few months)....and almost nobody wants to give those out. I thought it might help if I posted that, but I guess I was wrong, so I stand corrected. I appologize, lol.

Also, the ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe doesn't have "ratios" for RAM. You can only limit it to 250, 233, 200, 183, 166, 133, and 100. If those are the ratios, then yeah. Those are the ONLY options to limit the speed of the RAM in BIOS. This board's BIOS is WAY more confusing than I had originally hoped when I bought it. Can't wait till I can afford the TForce550....hopefully it'll be a little easier to OC.

Naw, man, I completely understand. I (and a lot of others from what I hear) get that all the time.

This...

is fine. I see people all the time that have that in their sig. It isn't considered begging, just a reminder. You could try that. Who knows, it might help. It's just the sentence after that seems borderline, that's all. No problem, though.

Yeah, I think those are pretty much ratios. If you set the memory to 100, and your cpu is at 200, I think it is a 2:1 ratio. The other ones are like 5:4 or something...I don't know...I'm getting sleepy & my brain dont think 2 good rite now...

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I think it's the fact that you have 4 sticks of RAM. AMD's memory controller is on the CPU (Intel's is on the mobo, I believe) When you get 4 sticks of RAM on any AMD system, it starts to glitch, crash, etc. I would recommend you try removing 2 of the sticks, and see if you can overclock higher from there. And just so you don't feel bad, I had to run my RAM under stock speed to get 3 GHz on this CPU, so it just happens.

A 39 yr old just said "peace out"! I am debating whether to sig it or not!

The point about valueram and running it on a divider makes the most sense. PC3200 valueram will do maybe 215 to 218 FSB (sometimes more, sometimes less) so it's just safer to limit it. Besides, a 166/200 divider at 250 FSB is about 208, so it's spot on

***EDIT

Excellent point also on the 4 x 512. The ram may already be limited and running a 166/200 divider. CPU-Z will tell us.

RAM increases approx. the same % of the divider. It does vary slightly dependant on the CPU multiplier.
So it would only increase aprox. 1 for every 2 if the RAM was set to DDR200 or 100MHz.
Take the DDR333 setting which is 5/6 or 83%. for every 1 MHz the CPU is increased the RAM increases aprox. .83MHz
