Hey, has anybody actually tried the new CoolIT Systems FreeZone SLi Cooler? I can only find one review of it.

the numbers dont lie. temps almost cut in half without the controll module.
even on low temps look great. ive always wished i could afford one of the CPU versions.

Unless I am mistaken, this only cools video cards?! I think I will be cooling my video card with a custom build kit rather than the FreeZone, that way I can still cool my CPU too.

I would be interested to see how they cool the CPU, is there enough room for a waterblock, or is a low profile block needed? Does prevent the use of all air coolers due to its size?

Yes it looks like there is enough room for a WB and the HSF would have to be quite small it appears. However, they only showed a Stacker 832 and the 120mm fan is not idealy postioned within that case.

you could cut a hole somewhere and mount it where it doesnt obstruct your CPU HSF.
or just get a second unit for the CPU. XD

What is?

Personally I think that this would be a bad idea. Not only does it make it harder to mount a cooler of any sort, but it kills the airflow in that area. Not too much of a problem when it is cooling your CPU, but without that cooler, your air flow dies a painful death.

True. I assume that other cases have more convinient spots to mount the hardware but it looks like WC is the only option here.
