Catalyst Control Center booting up isues

i have been having troubles with my ccc. I have installed it on my pc fine, but when i reboot my pc it comes up with "you do not have permission to change ccc settings plaease conta your administator for help" or something like that when i click ok it comes up again after that it diapeers. if i try and start it manualy it doesent do anything

Could you please fill out your system specs in your profile? It will make it a lot easier for us to help you.

Concerning your problem, are you running Vista? If yes, you need to run certain programs as an administrator, make sure the user account is the administrator. It's a built in function of Vista made for virus/hacker protection.

I was getting this on XP for awhile. After un-installing it, making sure my .NET was completely up to date, and re-installing the latest version... it went away. I don't know what caused it.

Well have tried your idea but it did nothing. it did the exact same thing!! oh and my .NET is up to date and it is version 3.0 and my ATI CCC is version 7.4
