It seems highly disappointing given the fact that they said they would not do this again, then they go an compare a socket 478 core duo, to the best shineyest thing they have. The analysis should clear a few things up if you still think they are comparing them to core 2's.
Also, I never new that CPU's supported wireless? Where is my core 2's antennae hookup?

I would love to see Intels counter to this, overclockers.com has something that I think would be a very good idea:
1st all mobile core family processors use the 478 socket
2nd the tl-60 has been out since last year in july or so, and at the time the c2d werent out yet.
gets your facts straight before u start accusing companies of being deceptive.
ps. the article u linked to overclockers is for the 65nm, your amd link is for 90nm.....
