Help me out for late summer build - Page 4

on TomsHardware there used to be a x38 gallery. showing all manufacturer's new x38 board designs (without finalised cooler designs)

since the new layout, it seems that page is gone.

Don't want to hi-jack the thread, but what the memory steal everyone was so excited about?

By the way thanks to the new layout the charts are terrible! I used to love the old GPU, CPU and HD charts but now they seem a lot slower and hard to read!

Still a great website though.

though the e6850 is on top of everything. i would recommend q6600 if you are going to use it for more than 2 years.

i personally would never go for the e6850, since you can always get a e6700 or alike and overclock it.

with the q6600, it's quad core, and it's going to be cheap. it's going to be future proof. it's also going to beat the dual core in most games that comes out.

this question is similar to "single or dual core" back in the single core days. and see where we are now: dual core is a standard.

true. ill prob just hit for the q6600, im just worried about heat, i'll have to pick up a stinger v8 block.
