i have about 1.8TB in just storage not including all the OS drives for all my computers. Soon to be redone with many large drives in raid 1 so i don't lose anything in case of drive failure.

nearly, 910GB. 2x80 GB (Raid 0). 3 x 250 GB.

250+250+250+160= 910GB.

I use most of it for my music, and also for FRAPS. So much of it stays emtpy allowing me to encode videos from Fraps.

I'll be going over 1TB soon as I need to get a bigger backup drive. Currently only 250GB and need over 500GB ideally

A bit mental?

Actually I'm thinking of buying about 1.5 TB to make it about 3TB just for backup purposes.... but paying about £200 just for backup is slightly over the top I must say..

Depends how valuable the data is. If like me its all your photos ever, all your career work (perfected CVs etc) and documents you couldnt live without out, then is it?? I think so. If you were to add the hours of recreating them.

Well yeah I suppose. Some of the stuff on them for me is irreplaceable and some of it is over 2 years of was a lot hard work to get (If you can it work). Also theres loads of work etc. on them and if I lost my music I would literally go insane. Over 25GB's of music would never be easy to get back.

1.18 TB.

Entire DVD collection is backed up, all Xbox games are backed up. Music, photos, games Imaged and backed up, then all my careers work, Matlab, Labview C++ and VB programs. Basically everything is there.. Even Dreamcast and PS1 games from 8 years ago....

And all are Imaged from the Xeon server which in total is about 3TB in my Closet which makes its rounds 2 times per week using Acronis... I'm a little anal

Best thing about it is, not one drive failure... SCSI's kick serious ass for reliability.
